What is puerh tea?

Puerh is a fermented tea from Yunnan, China, prized for its complexity and rare ability to age and improve over time — much like fine wine. The finest examples come from ancient trees, some hundreds of years old, produced in very small quantities.

What’s in the Discovery Box?

Three Chen Yuan Hao puerh teas — The Refined Blend (2016 Nian Nian You Yu), The Ancient Tree Tea (2007 Yiwu Chawang) and The Mountain Magic (2025 Tianmenshan) — along with traditional gongfu teaware: a gaiwan and three tasting cups.

How do I brew puerh tea?

The gongfu method uses short, repeated infusions. Use the gaiwan with near-boiling water (90–95°C). Start with 5–10 second infusions, extending gradually as the leaves open. The same leaves can be infused 10–20 times, revealing different layers of flavour with each pour. A full brewing guide is included in the box.

How long does delivery take?
